Group Committee

Colin Robertson

Committee Chair

I recently took over as Chair of Headway Dundee & Angus with the aim of getting the group back up and running, which was achieved in March 2018. Moments like that mean so much to me knowing the difference support can make to those that really need it. It’s been a passion of mine to be involved in making a difference with various brain injury groups/committees beginning back in 2009 with Headway.

Sarah Douglas

Secretary

Sarah is an associate solicitor at Digby Brown in Dundee.  She acts for clients who have been injured or who have lost loved ones in civil damages claims arising mostly from workplace and road traffic accidents.  In her spare time, she enjoys running and spending time outdoors with her family.

Graeme Lind

Treasurer

Graeme is the treasurer of Headway Dundee and Angus. He works as a Chartered Financial Planner for Tilney and helps people structure and invest compensation payments. Graeme also acts as treasurer for the Scottish Head Injury Forum. In his spare time he plays golf and follows the Scotland rugby team.

Maria Burnett

I have worked as the East of Scotland Network Coordinator with Headway UK for over 6 years, before that 2 years as a Rehabilitation and Outreach Worker with Momentum who are also a brain injury charity. Before joining Momentum I work at Borders College in Galashiels.”

Tabea Neumann

Volunteer Committee Member

Group volunteer

I am a member of the Headway Dundee and Angus committee and I currently manage the charity’s social media pages.

Having worked in a psychiatric hospital in Germany, I saw how severe the physical and psychological effects of acquired brain injuries can be for patients. When I heard about Headway in Dundee, I was motivated to support the charity and started volunteering at the group meetings in February 2018.

I am currently studying psychology and have a keen interest in neuropsychology. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, dancing and playing the piano.

I currently work as a case manager and occupational therapist providing rehabilitation for adults and children who have had brain injuries throughout Scotland. Being from Dundee originally I was keen to see the Headway group up and running again.
